Science behind the ritual performance for idols

This topic deals about the science behind ritual performance for idols performed at temple & home

Peoples in different religion were more concern about idol worship in Hinduism. esp. Their primary concern in scoff worship - large quantity of Milk, Curd, Leaves, Flowers, and other essentials were wasted by dumping on idol in name of God, centering that God never asked for such things. Even before scripting the science on behalf of ritual worship, I was also one of the strongest antagonist for ritual performance. Once I start to explore the worship the door to science start to get enlightened.

Before diving to more science, I explains the outlines of the performance

The following are the primary materials used in performing with idol.

Idol - stone
Plant origins - Leaves, Flowers, Honey, Sandal wood powder, Turmeric powder, Thunder nut and Fruits etc.
Animal origins - Milk, Curd, Butter etc.
Chemicals - Water, incense/ Agarbathi sticks, Camphor, Oil, Vermillion (kumkum) etc.

How the rituals were performed with idols.

Idols were painted with oils
Given bath with water
Given bath with Animal origins followed by plant origins materials.
Followed by bath with water, Leaves and flowers were kept while washing with every bath
Incense sticks were enlighten every time

The science behind the usage of every materials used

1. Idol

Idol or murti (form) are statues crafted from stone which forms the base of the worship. In Bagavadgeetha - Lord Krishna explains that he himself the universe i.e is he is omnipresence in every form that exist in this universe includes matter - > anti-matter - > elementary, sub atomic and atomic particles - > Light - > Stars - > Planets etc.

The modern quantum mechanics explains that anti-matter and matter are driving force which creates the universe and they are the matter gives the mass to the atoms which form the atomic table indexed by the science community. Idol itself silicon which is tough to perish and Sage Thirumoolar describe that universe is life and life is universe hence worshiping the idol has been welcome armed in Hindu tradition. More over Idols gives more room for the materials which are flown through them, there by enough space is available to pick the essentials from them

2. Plant origin - I Have listed only external properties

Turmeric powder, Sandalwood powder, Honey Thunder nut - Anti-septic, Anti-biotic, Anti-microbial, Anti-fungal

Scientific application/ thought

Anti-microbial - helps in preventing microbial/ germs growth

Flowers and Leaves - Carries Bacteriophages viruses

Bacteriophage - source - /www.aboutthemcat.org/images/biology/bacteriophage-action.png
Bacteriophage - source - http://www.slideshare.net/doctorrao/bacteriophage

Scientific application/ thought

Helps in controlling microbial growth which are resistant to chemicals/ plant origin compounds

3. Animal origin

Curd - rich in probiotic esp. lacto bacillus

Milk - act as growth medium for lacto bacillus
Lactobacillus - copied from microbewiki.kenyon.edu

Scientific application/ thought

Lactobacillus inhibits other bacterial growth by making the environment in acidic by consuming Lactate from milk

Note:- Till today no or less species of Bacteriophages is available against lacto bacillus

4. Chemical Origin

Scientific application/ thought
- Stimulates your brain by burning them also act as bronco-dilators

- see reference for more details

More details will be continued in next post

Plasma shield in Ramayana

The presence of frictional shield to protect the city and army while battle, was like a dream for many countries and even most challenging for all the scientist.

Recently "Boeing has patented" a methodology for creating plasma shield which evident that in near feature human's could create and use it.

The protective shield become more famous when the star wars movies released it. It takes nearly half a century for scientist to understand and develop the concept. But

The evidence of existence/usage of Plasma shields during the epic period of "Ramayana" by Lord Raavan in the name of Panchvaktram, a device which creates shield. Which clearly stats that history has to be re-written since Ramayana is thought to be happened between 40K to 35K BC. It has been said that Raavan got this weapon from his Guru Sukulacharia whom do Yagna for the device to get manifested. Raavana used to summon it whenever he left his city for battle and also on his final battle against Lord Rama.
Panchvaktram:- Instruments which creates shield upon stimulation by light in the presence of Air and Water.
The name describes that the instrument has five face (Panch in Sanskrit means five and Vaktram means faces) facing all the directions East, West, North, South and Top to create the shield. Also it uses all the five elements Air, Earth (has stone), Light/ heat, water (moisture) and space.
The character of this weapon is, it blossoms with both day/ night cycle i.e., it forms shield with both Sun/ moon light and its loophole is only at the time of Sun set and Sun rise (Just to mention the day/ night cycle - Technically no sun set and sun rise) wherein it reset itself according to light intensity.

It has central core with Gem stone which upon stimulation by absorbing sun/ moon light; emits unique kind of light (Equals to that of modern day solid state LASER light/ Electron Beam Lithography) which reacts with the moisture air/ water in atmosphere to create plasma shield. The light is emitted through all the five faces to create and spreads in all the directions there by covering the surroundings.

This clearly describes that the plasma shield has been known to Indus valley ancestors even before other ancient civilisation even exist and they are technically advanced. It also proves that technology in Hindu mythology not only contains destroying weapons, but also protective weapons and "Disproves that Hindu epics are not a Myth"; they are richest text of Science and Technology.
